133. Daily Life at the GW Zoo / Tiger King and I

John and Coleman interview an ex-employee of GW Zoo! It was formerly owned by Joe Exotic and now owned by Jeff Lowe. His name is Jeremiah Lovelady, he worked there from 2013 into 2015 and tells the guys about his experience as an employee of the now famous zoo. The topics ranged and went in various directions, from living on the property and caring for the animals, to eating the meat delivered on trucks and struggling for family time, and so much more. Jeremiah is a military vet, who provided great firsthand experience of what it’s like to live on the land of where the Netflix documentary “The Tiger King” was filmed. Jeremiah even has several animals himself! The conversation lasted over an hour, so we can’t thank Mr. Lovelady enough for joining us to give us a better glimpse of the Oklahoma Habitat and some behind the scenes stories.

There was no other segments, as the focus was on this interview. John and Coleman were joined, however, by Rocky from “What’s the Fuss?” podcast for a bit of banter before the interview. The discussions included the fact that it’s Easter, a hot new app named Quibi, a bonus episode they did, and more. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your tiger kings!
