143. Weekly Love & Future Flubs

John and Coleman give love to all! The guys start off talking about the past and various pager codes. Also, John quickly realizes that he hates 3D photos. Both of them are looking for new places, and we shall see what they come up with. As they talk about the past, “Tuddle’s Ten” this week takes everyone on a ride to the future! Ready to take the trip with Tudds? (find Tuddle on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook all @tuddle or at youtube.com/tuddle – find his show “Tuddle Daily Podcast” on all major platforms).

For “What’s Up Doc?”, Coleman discusses a documentary about 3 identical strangers. Doesn’t make sense? Listen and find out. “Did Ya Hear?” features stories about a huge brushfire in Vegas, a flood in Boston, Sacha Baron Cohen trolling a community, and so much more! We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your love maker(s)!

123. Pho Your Elderberries / Secret Show Spew Part 2

John and Coleman get back at it. Coleman’s feeling super ill, but that didn’t stop him from doing the show! The guys go through suggestions from listeners and friends of the show on how to cure a headache and fever most efficiently. Also, they both went to The News Junkie Secret Show 150 party, and it was crazy. Did John really throw up again? They also talk about musicians and how they can be divas, but also how some will call fans up on stage to play with them.

For “Did Ya Hear?”, discussions included the McGregor and Cowboy fight, Super Bowl 54, a hoverboarding dentist, the drama within the Royal Family, and more! Go over to Patreon.com/FTI for bonus shows with even more debauchery. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your pizza maker!

101. FTI Live One – Amplified Evolution

John and Coleman do their first live video show! Appropriately named “FTI Live”, you can catch these episodes every Thursday @ 7pm on the Amplified Network ( twitch.tv/amplifiednetwork , youtube.com/amplifiednetwork ). Despite the nerves, the episode was fun with a lot of various topics such as blow up dolls, a big fight occurring right outside of our favorite bar, and the back to school season.

We get to our segments between “Scoop on the Group” and “Did Ya Hear?” with some interesting news, and some heavy news. We can’t thank you all enough for the support. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your pizza maker!

99. Maxine & Kirt from Maxine’s On Shine

John and Coleman are on-location at “Maxine’s On Shine”! They sit down and chat with the owners, Kirt and Maxine! We talk about their success with their many awards and nominations, as well as the tribulations and difficulties that come with operating a business. Also, they talk about some events that they have coming up, things on their menu, and they even tell us a bit about themselves on a personal level (among MUCH more). They have a lovely place and they are lovely people. “Maxine’s On Shine” this year is nominated at Orlandoweekly.com for “best brunch, best bloody mary, and best place to take a date”, and they have also won Reader’s and Critic’s Choice awards for the Orlando Magazine year after year since 2013. What do you expect? They’re in the Dining Hall of Fame! We encourage you to vote for them this year and check out their unique restaurant if you haven’t already! Huge thanks to Kirt and Maxine, they’re a complete delight and interviewing them was a real treat with a lot of hilarity involved. Go to maxinesonshine.com to find out more! We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your pizza maker gosh darn it!

90. Table for Twenty & Smashed Knees

John and Coleman are back at it and have quite a few stories to tell. John swallows glass and attends the Orlando City Lions soccer game, and Coleman went to the 3rd Fish Fry. With Cinco De Mayo this past week, the debauchery was increased. Friends fell down, friends were drunk, and friends were reserving spots at restaurants for twenty people. Needless to say, the last few days have been eventful.

For segment two, they raffle away $25 to Best Buy for a listener and do “Did Ya Hear?”. Getting into discussions such as the Kentucky Derby disqualification, a Game of Thrones continuity error, and another stupid criminal. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your pizza maker!

88. Perkins Poison

They’re back, although late. Coleman has a new gig for a new podcast and John did the episode with a painful tooth infection. They both catch up, and then discuss video games in terms of where they’re at in this generation. They also talk about marriage proposals and whether or not a rejection warrants the end of the relationship.

In “Did Ya Hear?”, Coleman has more bone breaking news and John has a few sports stories; NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, and Tiger Woods wins The Masters probably because of Perkins. They also get to the fire that happened in the Cathedral of Notre Dame and read the first few emails from our monthly competition. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your pizza maker.

86. Lost and Found of Voices & Interview with David Batten

This episode John and Coleman interview David Batten from Liberty Health Sciences during the middle portion, or the meat of the show if you will! They were also joined by Rocky from “What’s the Fuss?” podcast, and had some questions for David about being a manager of a Florida medical dispensary. They tried new things, shared laughs, and had a good ol’ time getting informed. Though some of it may seem common knowledge, people just like to pretend they know when they actually don’t.

Also Coleman lost his voice while yelling during an Orlando City Soccer match, and apparently found other voices within himself. They do “Did Ya Hear?” along with the monthly prize giveaway in the last segment. The timeline for this one jumps around and the settings of recording change, but we hope you continue to laugh with us or at us. And tip your pizza maker!

85. Brunch With the KitchenKillaz

This episode John and Coleman have on special guests, the extremely talented Billy Floyd and Commodore from the KitchenKillaz! It was a fantastic time interviewing them and hanging out. We get to learn about how they started as a musical duo, as well as, their show they do live 3 times a week and how Commodore got his name.

They provide a great behind the scenes look at how they have accomplished all that they have up to this point and what they hope to get done in the future. The laughter was contagious in this one. They’re expecting their first album in the near future, they play amazing live sets, and they crash kitchens with a fantastic variety show; enjoy our chat with the KitchenKillaz!

Catch their show Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at facebook.com/kitchenkillaz or on YouTube! We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed chatting!

83. Helium & Beverages – Runnin’ On Empty

It’s just John and Coleman on this episode. They settle in easy discussing Coleman shaving his heard, a bit about Medieval Times, how it is when running into old high school acquaintances, and a few other things! Like maybe another giveaway for this month?!?

John briefly shares his love for background characters in TV sitcoms, Coleman shares a little about the Orlando City Soccer’s season opener, and they both suck on helium as a way to cope with the national shortage of the element. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting. LAUGH WITH US OR AT US, See you next Tuesday!

82. John Babcock and His Music

John and Coleman are joined by a very special guest, John Babcock! He plays multiple instruments (primarily drums, bass, guitar), and has been apart of “The Muchachos” Drum Corp as well as performs as Paul McCartney for The Beatles cover bands and as a solo artist. We ask him a lot of questions; from how he got started, to what he’s doing now and everything in between.

He tells stories about working in some amazing studios, playing at huge venues and stadiums, meeting some of the biggest names in show business, and all of his impressive original work! Be sure to check out BABCOCKMUSIC.COM to find out more stories and details of this musically, multi-talented professional. Buckle up for some incredible stories, we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting. LAUGH WITH US OR AT US, and you’ll hear from us again on Tuesday! For now, enjoy our chat with John Babcock!

81. We Reunite: A Surprise Party and a Giveaway

John and Coleman are reunited and are back! This episode they catch up a teeny bit about what they’ve been doing lately, given that it has been a few weeks since they got together. John has been temporarily producing another show, the guys have a great guest lined up for later in the week, and they both went to a killer surprise birthday party!

Also discussed was the obvious shame from R. Kelly, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and Jussie Smollett from the show “Empire”. And the first giveaway is done! A friend of the show and listener wins themselves a $25 gift card, so listen to find out if it was you! Thank you, we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting. LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

Backyard Sessions 12 – Chad DeGroot

We are in the backyard again for our 12th session as John and Rocky are joined with another amazing special guest, BMX professional and shop owner Chad DeGroot! In segment one, he talks about some of his travels over the years as well as some of his projects he has worked on. Chad tells us some memorable stories of his past, and we also have some innocent conversation about TV and what some of the best days of his life have been.

In segment two, Chad messes with Rocky! Chad told John he was going to troll Rocky, so, he starts acting confused and misunderstands everything Rocky is saying on purpose. Also, there were extremely hot chicken wings as the food on this one (so there may be some choking). We can not thank the BMX professional enough for stopping by and chatting with us. Sit back and enjoy an hour of the class act, Chad DeGroot!

Backyard Sessions 10 – Simon Sez of Simon Time Trivia

Episode 10 of Backyard Sessions features Simon Sez from Simon Time Trivia! This interview was an absolute treat. It was a blast going from discussing how far back his trivia goes, to how he controls difficult crowds, and beyond!

Simon tells John and Rocky about his professional wrestling experience, including some nice (and not so nice) interactions regarding the sports entertainment industry. Conversations also include superb fashion and certain racial tension. The discussion was extensive and covered more than this description could do justice. It’s our longest Backyard Session yet, it was fun, and we as always learn in-depth about our very special guest, CHECK IT OUT!

71. Pre-Halloween, The Lottery, and Voting

On this episode John and Coleman are excited for Halloween! So they talk about a bunch of stuff related to the holiday such as costumes, things that are truly scary, candy options, and more! Also discussing some horror films and those creepy soundtracks that come with them, as well as, receiving the first email…Thanks Mr. Bluegill!

Not everything is Halloween themed on this episode (in case that’s not your thing). Other discussions came about such as sleeping 101, that crazy lottery, the upcoming midterm elections, and a few other things. Thanks for downloading, we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting. If you enjoy the show, share it with your friends! LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

69. Rolls Reversed / Coleman Hosts, Origins of the Show

We’re back! John and Coleman switch rolls on this 69 themed episode, so this episode is hosted by Pizza Piesenberg. Joining them is Anthony from the ETBH Podcast! They all catch up a bit and Coleman questions John about the origins of the show. Discussions also include those pesky shopping carts, some sports chatter, and more!

Also a segment of “Did Ya Hear?” covering content sent in by a few friends of the show. Stories about a bionic penis, what popcorn lung is, and a trolling old couple that still bone each other. Thanks for downloading, we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy recording. LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

Backyard Sessions 9 – Rocky Socha @ The Copper Rocket

This one is John chattin’ and learnin’ more about his Backyard co-host. Rocky Socha moves into the guest chair and we banter at one of his favorite places, The Copper Rocket! – This bar is fantastic for food, beer, and entertainment at really affordable prices. The Copper Rocket was even featured on the television show “Bar Rescue” (season 6 episode 9), but we intend to learn more about that in a later episode.

John and Rocky talk about a number of things from the continuing up-and-coming podcast scene in Orlando, FL to what the scene looked like when Rocky began hosting 3 years ago. Discussions also include how his show “What’s the Fuss?” was formulated and the personas behind himself, Etchie, Ry, and the late Hurricane Bill. The drinking was a little extra in this one, but it is what it is. When at a bar, you got to have a few drinks! Thanks for listening, downloading, and playing along. Share the show with a friend!

68.5 – Deaths, Disasters, and Downers

Although this episode is a full length show, it’s labelled as a half-episode because the topics are quickly thrown together and with half the heart. Not really, it’s more that the topics are interesting but depressing for the most part. John and Coleman start off talking about remembering historical disasters, hanging out the past week, and the beginning of the NFL season, among some other stuff.

In segment two, they discuss skinbreaking acne, heartbreaking deaths such as Bill Daily, Burt Reynolds, and Mac Miller. Also, they talk about the multiple hurricanes swirling in the Atlantic Ocean and a warning of preparation. Not everything we address is negative and there are jokes sprinkled about, we swear!

We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting. Coleman is hammered and he loves you. Laugh with us or at us and stay weird yo!

Backyard Sessions 7 – Ry Perry

John and Rocky start late in this one doing the whole show during sundown when it was pitch black, and with no breaks! They have on as a guest designer/podcaster/good-guy Ry Perry from “Disclaimers Not Apologies” and “What’s the Fuss?” Podcasts. His DNA podcast group page has swirled a lot of conversation lately, so naturally we discussed things such as the difficulty of moderating, accomplishing resolution and the point of revolution; and most importantly the main intentions behind the new political-based show.

There were a lot of laughs shared in this one, discussing things like how much emo is too emo, Al Sharpton struggling to spell, what we thought “wet-start” meant at first, and a butt load more! – John’s co-host Coleman, and Ry’s other-half pop on the show for a second to say hi! We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, and LAUGH WITH US OR AT US! & Staye Wheird

66. Chico’s Brain Wit or Witout Cheese Whiz

This episode features Danny Chico and Darkness from the “Chico’s Brain” Podcast! We had nothing prepared and was late to our own show, but despite that they were still cool with us! It was awesome having them on and we discuss numerous things such as bad first impressions, John and Darkness both being from Philly (somehow cheese whiz jizz), and we even try and jump into Chico’s brain for a bit!

We try a new thing in the beginning of segment two. Upon us requesting for unique music videos to good songs, we received a number of good ones and are going to try and break them down as to what we think is going on. We also have a thing or two for “Did Ya Hear?”. We can not thank Mr. Chico enough for staying up past his bedtime to hang with us, and we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed chatting. – LAUGH WITH US OR AT US! & Get Weird.

64. Reading Reviews / A Listener’s Topics

In episode 64, John and Coleman catch up after taking a week off, John mentions his new schedule, they recap a bit of the World Cup, and also read some of their wonderful reviews from the listeners! It is extremely humbling to have so much positivity spread in relation to the show.

We also have a gauntlet of topics from a loyal listener (Thanks Rob)! From discussing if John can cook, to discussing which coast is the best in Florida, to straws, and to hardware stores. John and Coleman also discuss whether they prefer being funny, or being informing. – Which do you prefer, information or humor?

We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, and LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

63. Guest Keri Cain / Father Kim Cain’s Murder Conviction

This episode, Coleman and John have on special guest Keri Cain. Her father Kim Cain was locked up in 1996 for the murder of 71 year old Geraldine Pucillo. She was found in her bathtub on June 13th, 1996 with her hands tied behind her back by a telephone cord and the cause of death was strangulation. There is a lot of evidence involved in this case, but did Kim Cain kill Mrs. Pucillo? Was he involved?

In segment one we chat with Keri and her boyfriend Daryl lightly and share a few laughs. Also Keri tells us about what it was like growing up without her father being there and her initial shock. She informs us of her relationship with her father and how she felt going through all of this.

In segment two, it gets down to what happened that night in June. We discuss the evidence that was key in putting Kim Cain away – The jewelry, the palm print, testimony from Mr. Newton, and much more (also referencing previous coverage of this case on A&E “City Confidential”, Shawn Wasson’s “Millionaire Murder”, and Investigation Discovery’s “Reasonable Doubt” season 2 episode 2).

This episode was so much fun to do and despite bumps in the road we were able to meet up, hangout, chat, and have a great time! We can not thank Keri and Daryl enough for having us over and letting us invade your home and personal space. We hope you guys enjoy as much as we enjoyed recording!

Backyard Sessions 6 – Josh “Pinkman”

The 6th Backyard Session has Josh “Pinkman” Fowler on from real radio 104.1, iHeart media, and the “Casual Shadows” Podcast. We talk about how young Pinkman is (given his success), the fact that John and Pinkman may fight soon, about music and his other, other show “Sunday Morning Coming Down.” Also, congratulate him on his engagement!!

You can hear the amount of energy this episode has, and it’s a lot! What do you expect? We were excited to talk and hang with Mr. Pinkman! We can not thank him enough for coming on, we had an amazing time, and we hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed chatting. LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

For episode 61, it is just John and guest Ry from “What’s the Fuss?” Podcast. We discuss how Ry dove head first into the podcast scene and the emotions/pressure that came along with it. Also, Ry has a new show coming out politically based called DNA (Disclaimers Not Apologies), he tells us about it and samples a bit for us. Ry also opens up about the connotation of being “Ry the Bi Guy” ; And of course, we talk about our common interest of each doing a show with the charismatic Rocky Socha.

Changing gears, we cover a bit of news doing “Did Ya Hear?” – discussing briefly about the NBA playoffs, the dangers of Romaine Lettuce, Cockroach Milk, Roseanne being a dummy, and much more!

This episode was extremely interesting and I can not thank Ry enough for coming on, and thank you to all the listeners and supporters for downloading and sharing the show! – LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!!

60. Ken & Michele OneKaway / Cuba and Tangents

Episode 60 has Ken and Michele on from the OneKaway podcast joining John and Coleman. They tell us a little bit about their recent trip to Cuba. Is it worth it?, What’s the experience like?, and we discuss a bit about the international currency exchange – Also on a side note, Did Ya Hear, Yanny or Laurel?

We also talk about oysters and mussels containing opium in the ocean; giving birth to an unexpected baby; Sportstown Billiards’ controversial sign; The Stanley Cup Finals; and a number of more things.

We always have good times when we get together, so it’s no surprise we had a lot of fun! We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording. Please share the show if you like us, and I can’t thank everyone enough for listening and downloading. – LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

59. Orlando City Soccer Antics / 18th Florida Music Festival

Episode 59 has no guest, just Piesenberg/Coleman and John. They discuss the change in Florida weather, John finds out Coleman has been a grandpa for almost a year, and more fun stuff.

Segment 1 they both discuss the most recent Orlando City Soccer match against rival Atlanta United and the irresponsible events that occurred at the game(and not the first time). Also, they chat about the 18th annual Florida Music Festival that was all last weekend – John almost lost his car one of the days.

Bonus #4 – Backyard Sessions Blowout

It’s another bonus show! John hangs out by the lake with Rocky (WTFP & BS) and Coleman (FTI). The trio packs a lot of stuff within this episode.

Is this Bonus or Backyard Sessions? There’s no “special” guest but we have the nature, beer, chicken, and conversation…So who knows, maybe it is a bit of both! Discussions include conversations about coordinating/attending past and future Events, John wanting to fight Radio Personality Josh Pinkman, an idea for a pillow fight club, electric avenue the song (thank you skeezix), beer sampling, Michelle Wolf’s roast, and too much more to list.

Give it a listen as Coleman gets a half-hearted edition of Backyard Sessions! All 3 of us thank you so effing much!

We discuss some music of course, but also talk about some band behavior, such as tips and ways to secretly masturbate, and also quitting a band over your love of cold fries. Steve has other great stories in this one – and side note, Rocky let’s us know an actual legit way to divide your own friends. We had fun under the sun!
