This episode John and Coleman are sick and delirious, yay! It made for a fun time, as always. Discussing about all of the various types of phone games that there are as a way to pass time on a daily basis. Also, it was a Double Doink!
In “Did Ya Hear?”, Coleman shows John a video he hasn’t seen before, and it is absolutely gross! They talk for a second about the Golden Globes, as well as some iffy scientific research. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting! LAUGH WITH US OR AT US.
Episode 10 of Backyard Sessions features Simon Sez from Simon Time Trivia! This interview was an absolute treat. It was a blast going from discussing how far back his trivia goes, to how he controls difficult crowds, and beyond!
Simon tells John and Rocky about his professional wrestling experience, including some nice (and not so nice) interactions regarding the sports entertainment industry. Conversations also include superb fashion and certain racial tension. The discussion was extensive and covered more than this description could do justice. It’s our longest Backyard Session yet, it was fun, and we as always learn in-depth about our very special guest, CHECK IT OUT!
This episode John and Chris “Pizza_Piesenberg” Coleman chat during the middle of the day, and holy smokes was it hot on the PodPatio! They discuss things such as staying hydrated, the bad idea of leaving lighters and bottles in your car, and mixing brown and white liquor. They try a new beer as well ; also John almost died (Well not really, but the potential was there).
In addition, John and Coleman interpret a music video that may or may not relate to summer, then they have “Did Ya Hear?” covering the death of the “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin and a stolen plane from Seattle/Tacoma International Airport. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, and LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

On this episode, John and Coleman talk about exotic animals – there are ones that would be cool to own, then there are ones that are underestimated, and of course ones that can fight! We also have our very first international guest, as we talk on the phone with Australian rapper ‘Mugzy’ Brady! It was awesome discussing music from where it has been to where it’s going, as well as discussing his experience making music. We even pick his brain a bit about the culture in Australia, and man can you hear it in his voice!
In segment two we interpret a music video as best as possible, and do some “Did Ya Hear?” – What is the deal with smoked watermelon and watermelon soup? We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed chatting. Stay weird and LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!

John and Coleman also get back to doing “Did You Hear?” with a new jingle playing it in. – Mentioning things such as Demi Lovato’s overdose, Disney being sued, a Chinese social system, and much more. LAUGH WITH US OR AT US!
In episode 64, John and Coleman catch up after taking a week off, John mentions his new schedule, they recap a bit of the World Cup, and also read some of their wonderful reviews from the listeners! It is extremely humbling to have so much positivity spread in relation to the show.
We also have a gauntlet of topics from a loyal listener (Thanks Rob)! From discussing if John can cook, to discussing which coast is the best in Florida, to straws, and to hardware stores. John and Coleman also discuss whether they prefer being funny, or being informing. – Which do you prefer, information or humor?
