133. Daily Life at the GW Zoo / Tiger King and I



John and Coleman interview an ex-employee of GW Zoo! It was formerly owned by Joe Exotic and now owned by Jeff Lowe. His name is Jeremiah Lovelady, he worked there from 2013 into 2015 and tells the guys about his experience as an employee of the now famous zoo. The topics ranged and went in various directions, from living on the property and caring for the animals, to eating the meat delivered on trucks and struggling for family time, and so much more. Jeremiah is a military vet, who provided great firsthand experience of what it’s like to live on the land of where the Netflix documentary “The Tiger King” was filmed. Jeremiah even has several animals himself! The conversation lasted over an hour, so we can’t thank Mr. Lovelady enough for joining us to give us a better glimpse of the Oklahoma Habitat and some behind the scenes stories.

There was no other segments, as the focus was on this interview. John and Coleman were joined, however, by Rocky from “What’s the Fuss?” podcast for a bit of banter before the interview. The discussions included the fact that it’s Easter, a hot new app named Quibi, a bonus episode they did, and more. John and Coleman wish you a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! The guys celebrate the holiday with drinks! And because of the Coronavirus, the guys cope with drinks! The discussions include many different angles of the Coronavirus and how it is affecting our world from sports shutting down to the stock market fluctuating and the stuff in between. The conversation segues to surviving a zombie apocalypse, who would get bitten first John or Coleman? Also, they discuss Saint Patrick and some history of the holiday and the legend of the Patron Saint of Ireland.

For “Did Ya Hear?”, you guessed it…Coronavirus! The guys mix in a few other stories such as a man saving a decade-old caboose, a dog trainer who doesn’t train dogs, and a lady walking up to a gruesome murder scene. John and Coleman find out that and much more talking to the radio legend. Also, John has to tell Tuddle the horrific truth about how he never caught a fish before.

Coleman felt lucky, so he decided to try his hand at a few scratch off tickets. 125. Boxing & Acting with Jack O’Halloran / Super Bowl Week



John and Coleman have an extra long show this week! The guys interview the legend Jack O’Halloran, known for his successful boxing career and for playing some big roles in Hollywood. Jack talks about going toe to toe with George Foreman, beating the crap out of champions, and even almost getting a fight with Muhammad Ali! He also discusses some of his characters that he has played in movies such as Superman 1 and 2 (Non), King Kong (Joe Perko), Dragnet (Emil), Farewell My Lovely (Moose), March or Die (Ivan), and more! Listen to Jack talk about how he slammed Christopher Reeve up against a wall, inspired Sylvester Stallone’s “Rocky” character, and the roles he has turned down in some big movies, like James Bond for example! And did you know he has a book?

Sprinkled around the interview, John and Coleman talk about the Super Bowl and everything surrounding it. From the commercials to the halftime show, and from the game itself to Trump being confused as to which state won the game. Also, Coleman went camping! He tells John how much of a struggle the weather and his tent was, despite having a good time overall. We can not thank Mr. Jack O’Halloran enough for taking time out of his busy day to chat with us about all that he has accomplished! John and Coleman have plenty to discuss, starting with the sudden passing of the great Kobe Bryant and everyone else aboard the helicopter that malfunctioned and crashed. The guys also discuss a bit about the Pro Bowl that was just here in Orlando, as well as their event they are working on set for March 1st. Coleman has a firsthand experience with the electric scooters and informs us on how user friendly they are. Also, the guys do “Scoop on the Group” thanks to our friends of the show, and Coleman tells John about an interesting documentary he saw. Oh, and Coleman brings back “Pizza’s Picks” with two good recommendations!

John and Coleman are back to the basics! No phone calls or guests, just raw banter. John celebrated his birthday so he was nursing a hangover and has been having “blonde” moments all week. Meanwhile, Coleman went and saw the new Joker movie and let’s us know what he thought of it, no spoilers! Also, they both went to the final Orlando City soccer match and give their last update of the season.

Discussions also included the premier of the 45th season of SNL, a 9 year old being sentenced for 5 counts of murder, someone’s suggestion to eat babies to fix the climate, the internet exploding over Ellen and George W. Bush sitting together, and much much more! The guys didn’t drink on this one, it was all water, Red Bull, and Apple Juice.
