125. Boxing & Acting with Jack O’Halloran / Super Bowl Week

John and Coleman have an extra long show this week! The guys interview the legend Jack O’Halloran, known for his successful boxing career and for playing some big roles in Hollywood. Jack talks about going toe to toe with George Foreman, beating the crap out of champions, and even almost getting a fight with Muhammad Ali! He also discusses some of his characters that he has played in movies such as Superman 1 and 2 (Non), King Kong (Joe Perko), Dragnet (Emil), Farewell My Lovely (Moose), March or Die (Ivan), and more! Listen to Jack talk about how he slammed Christopher Reeve up against a wall, inspired Sylvester Stallone’s “Rocky” character, and the roles he has turned down in some big movies, like James Bond for example! And did you know he has a book?

Sprinkled around the interview, John and Coleman talk about the Super Bowl and everything surrounding it. From the commercials to the halftime show, and from the game itself to Trump being confused as to which state won the game. Also, Coleman went camping! He tells John how much of a struggle the weather and his tent was, despite having a good time overall. We can not thank Mr. Jack O’Halloran enough for taking time out of his busy day to chat with us about all that he has accomplished! Look out in the future for his other books and potentially any motion pictures he may be working on! We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy chatting, laugh with us or at us, and tip your pizza maker!

123. Pho Your Elderberries / Secret Show Spew Part 2

John and Coleman get back at it. Coleman’s feeling super ill, but that didn’t stop him from doing the show! The guys go through suggestions from listeners and friends of the show on how to cure a headache and fever most efficiently. Also, they both went to The News Junkie Secret Show 150 party, and it was crazy. Did John really throw up again? They also talk about musicians and how they can be divas, but also how some will call fans up on stage to play with them.

For “Did Ya Hear?”, discussions included the McGregor and Cowboy fight, Super Bowl 54, a hoverboarding dentist, the drama within the Royal Family, and more!
