74. What A Week!

On this episode, John and Coleman don’t do “Did Ya Hear?” because of the amount of other things that were discussed. Between looking back on the jam packed week and sharing some stories, there was no shortage of content. Some discussions included a trip to Sea World, a fun Fish Fry event, and a few things to think about when traveling for the holidays.

Coleman, Rocky, and John link up for another bonus episode! We say it’s number 4 but it’s actually number 6! We were on a time crunch, so we may be talking a little faster than usual. We talk about a few upcoming things such as a local annual Bike Drive, a new brewery/church that’s opening up, and Hurricane Bill’s memorial show.

We also get an update on Coleman and his distant father. Rocky tries a new beer, and lets it be known what he thinks of it. In light of Thanksgiving, it needs to be said that we appreciate having this platform to spread laughter. The friendships and bond that has grown with you the listeners has been such an amazing ride up to this point, with more to come! Episode 73 has special guest Joe Censabella on! He’s a hilarious comedian with viral short videos, most of which are in regards to Flex Seal Infomercials featuring Phil Swift. It was a lot of fun finding out more about Joe, especially with his Instagram page quickly gaining traction (@realgrandmasboy) . He talks about his first time doing stand-up, the frequency of bombing, and much more!

Other discussions include some travel talk, news with “Did Ya Hear?”, and we also hit Joe with a few life altering questions to get a better idea of his personality and character. Episode 10 of Backyard Sessions features Simon Sez from Simon Time Trivia! This interview was an absolute treat. It was a blast going from discussing how far back his trivia goes, to how he controls difficult crowds, and beyond!

Simon tells John and Rocky about his professional wrestling experience, including some nice (and not so nice) interactions regarding the sports entertainment industry. Conversations also include superb fashion and certain racial tension. The discussion was extensive and covered more than this description could do justice. It’s our longest Backyard Session yet, it was fun, and we as always learn in-depth about our very special guest, CHECK IT OUT!
